1961 Messerschmitt KR-200 Bubble Car

There are few cars that are as unique or interesting as this 1961 Messerschmitt KR-200. These Micro Cars were designed by a German aircraft engineer and built by a German aircraft manufacturing company. A single cylinder two-cycle engine displacing 191cc produces 10hp and can achieve incredible fuel mileage. Linked to the engine is a 4-speed manual transmission. The most unique trait of the Messerschmitt is not its 3-wheel layout, but the manner in which the driver and passengers enter the car. The top canopy is hinged on the passenger side and the driver sits up front with 2-passengers in the rear.
